Personal Injury

Every road user owes a duty of care to other road users not to drive their vehicle negligently. If you've been involved in a road traffic accident where another driver has breached his or her duty of care to you and that action has resulted in your suffering injuries, you may be entitled to bring a traffic accident claim against the other driver. You might be a pedestrian, a cyclist, motor cyclist or another car driver on the road.

Negligent driving often involves one or more of following factors:-

* Driving too fast

* Leaving an inadequate stopping distance

* Failing to keep a lookout

* Ignoring traffic signals or road signs

* Failing to brake or not braking fast enough

* Failing to control a vehicle appropriately

If your road traffic accident looks like it wasn't your fault, we will look at all of the evidence, take statements from any witnesses, liaise with the police and your insurers to present your road accident claim on the best available terms.

WHIPLASH

Whiplash Injury is usually caused by a car crash where another vehicle hits your car on the rear. In most whiplash injury claim cases, the car that has been hit is stationary and the driver is relaxed when the moving vehicle is hit in the rear, causing the occupants neck to swing violently resulting in a whiplash injury. At other times, this may not be the case and a whiplash injury may be caused while you are driving and a car hits yours in the rear.

In either of these cases, the whiplash injury resulted for no fault of yours and thus you can sue the driver of the other car for a whiplash injury claim and ask for whiplash compensation.

Intensity of a whiplash injury may vary and this will determine the amount of whiplash injury claim or whiplash compensation awarded. Sometimes the whiplash injury may be severe resulting in multiple injuries to the spine and ligaments of the neck. At other times, whiplash injury may be less pronounced and may show only minor symptoms such as stiffness of the neck, difficulty in swallowing, neck pain, etc. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms after a car accident, please have yourself medically checked as it may be a whiplash injury.
